What materials will I need?
Each term you will be sent a term plan which lists all the materials for the term. In addition the teacher emails you two days before the class to let you know what you’ll need for that specific class.
We keep the materials very simple and most of them you will have at home…acrylic paint, watercolour paint, oil pastel, pencil, air drying clay. These are the base materials we use and occasionally there might be something else special added.
Do I have to be there with my child?
No, you get to sit back and relax as our teachers do all the work. Although we would ask that you help your child log on at the start if they need it, and to have their materials handy. But then we take it from there.
What will my child make?
The activities we run include painting, drawing and sculpture. You can see our term plans here:
What platform are the classes run on?
We run the classes via Zoom and they are kept secure with a password
Are the classes live or prerecorded?
The classes are live and the kids get to interact with other arty kids.
What is the price?
It’s $13.50 a class, and the price varies depending on the number of classes in the term. Our classes are extremely affordable with an extremely high quality of art produced.
What if my child misses a class?
We record the classes and you can have access to the recording for two days.
Plus you can join a catch up class during another time
Can my child or I join midway through the term?
Yes, you are welcome to start at any time. We would love to have you as part of our ArtistiCat community!
How do I enter the Zoom class once my child or I are enrolled?
The classes are run via Zoom and once you enroll you’ll be sent the zoom link and all the details you’ll need to join the class.
How do I download zoom?
It’s super easy. Just go to https://zoom.us/download and download the Zoom Client for Meetings.
